ABOUT MAHMOUD TURABI
A business-minded lawyer for complex, modern work.
I am a Palestinian attorney and legal consultant based in Ramallah. My practice combines courtroom discipline, corporate advisory work and a focused interest in technology, privacy and AI governance.

CURRENT PRACTICE
Independent counsel, connected to established consulting work.
I work as an attorney and legal consultant with ITTQAN Consulting Services alongside my private and independent practice. That means clients should know, from the beginning, which capacity applies to their matter, who the engagement is with and what the defined scope covers.
Across disputes, corporate matters, commercial contracts, technology, privacy and AI governance, my work combines legal analysis with an understanding of how companies negotiate, operate and manage risk. When a matter needs counsel in another jurisdiction or a service outside the agreed scope, I say so clearly and coordinate where appropriate.
Across more than nine years of legal work, I have advised businesses, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, employers and individuals on disputes, agreements, corporate risk and business structure. I have handled more than 110 civil, commercial, banking and insurance matters. That figure describes matters handled—not promised results.
I use the first assessment to identify the objective, conflicts, applicable legal framework and whether another professional or local counsel is required. Clear boundaries are part of useful advice.

Co-founder and Attorney at Law, supporting business setup, contracts and ongoing legal advice—experience that sharpened my understanding of what clients need from counsel day to day.

Experience with trial, appeal and higher-court work, evidence, settlement assessment and the practical management of civil, commercial, banking and insurance disputes.
BUSINESS COUNSEL
Contracts and decisions
Arabic-English drafting, commercial negotiations, structure, governance and risk advice designed to be used by founders, executives and operating teams.
EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT
Grounded in law and economics, with continuing work in privacy and technology.
I hold an LL.M. in Law & Economics from Birzeit University and an LL.B. from An-Najah National University. My continuing professional development includes legal English, international contract drafting, GDPR and data protection, legal technology, AI and law, and responsible AI governance.
Education matters when it changes how advice is delivered. Law and economics informs how I assess incentives and commercial consequences; litigation experience keeps the analysis tied to evidence and enforceability; privacy and technology work helps me identify risks that conventional contract review can miss.
- LL.M. in Law & Economics — Birzeit University
- LL.B. — An-Najah National University
- Advanced legal-English and contract-drafting development
- Continuing study in privacy, data protection and AI governance
- Professional legal work in Arabic and English
WORKING STYLE
Clear about the judgment, the limits and the next step.
I prefer advice that identifies the decision, separates material risk from noise and explains what must happen next. Where facts are incomplete or a conclusion depends on another jurisdiction, I state that rather than hiding uncertainty behind polished language.
